Scott™ AV-3000 Series Facepieces are interchangeable with 3M™ Scott™'s NIOSH-approved SCBA, supplied air respirators and air-purifying respirators as well as 3M™ Bayonet cartridges and filters.

Option for extended duration airline connection
This connection enables the SCBA to accept an airline connection from an external air source, such as a cascade system, mobile air cart or existing plant air. This allows the external source to function as the primary air supply, thus conserving cylinder air for back-up or emergency escape situations.

3M™ Scott™ Mobile Air Carts
The 3M™ Scott™ Mobile Air Cart is a compact portable air source that accommodates two cylinders, helping to provide an uninterrupted supply of breathing air for multiple users for several hours. It also has a high-pressure inlet source that allows the use of a compressor or cascade system as the primary air source.

N/A Comfortable. Lightweight. Reliable.
The 3M™ Scott™ ACSi SCBA for non-fire related industrial applications.

The 3M™ Scott™ ACSi SCBA is a NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) designed for use in non-fire-related, industrial environments.

Engineered to high standards of performance, the Advanced Carry System (ACS) back frame and harness assembly provides a lightweight, flexible carry system for enhanced comfort. With reliable pneumatics, easy to clean harness and simplified features, the ACSi SCBA is a must have for your industrial SCBA needs.

Comfort and Ergonomics
Traditional SCBA carrying systems can generate strain and fatigue. The ACSi SCBA features padded lumbar support and padded, adjustable waist belt and shoulder straps. The result is a lightweight carry system designed to improve worker comfort. User comfort helps reduce fatigue and improve worker safety.

Top Down Convertibility
The ACSi SCBA utilizes approved AV-series facepieces which allow for an increase in versatility and compatibility with the 3M™ Scott™ product line. This design concept enables a user to be trained and fit-tested on a single facepiece to be used for SCBA, supplied air respirator or air-purifying respiratory protection. Top Down Convertibility simplifies training, minimizes equipment inventories and reduces cost associated with fit-testing multiple facepiece for each employee.

Engineered for Reliability and Ease-of-Use
At its core, the ACSi SCBA is everything you’d expect from 3M™ Scott™: equipment engineered for performance and reliability. This is central to our product design philosophy. That's why the ACSi SCBA incorporates a reliable two-stage pneumatic system that features a first stage pressure reducer coupled with the 3M™ Scott™ E-Z Flo mask-mounted regulator. The E-Z Flo regulator provides a positive locking mechanism for quick donning and an air-saver switch which allows the ACSi SCBA to be put in standby mode when connected to an activated cylinder.

Easy to Clean
The ACSi SCBA features an easy-to-clean, washable backplate and harness. Removal of the pneumatics requires a simple quarter turn of the high pressure reducer. No tools are needed to disengage the pneumatics from the backplate and harness. This helps facilitate quick, easy turnaround and easy decon. In addition, the E-Z Flo regulator is available with the option of Modulair quick disconnect for removal of the regulator for ease of cleaning, disinfecting and repair. The E-Z Flo regulator with Modulair option can be used with other industrial-style 3M™ Scott™ respirators, like the 3M™ Scott™ Ska-Pak Plus Supplied-Air Respirator and 3M™ Scott™ E-Z Airline Supplied Air Respirator, simplifying and reducing training and maintenance costs across the supplied air respirator product family.

End-of-Service Time Indicator (EOSTI) Alarm
The audible whistle alarm mounted on the pressure gauge alerts the user of low air supply when the cylinder air supply reaches 25% of its rated service duration. Additionally, the 3M™ Scott™ ACSi SCBA features an easily visible, over-the-shoulder luminescent pressure gauge to indicate cylinder air pressure.

Features to help reduce costs
The ACSi SCBA carries a five-year warranty. Straight forward maintenance with easy to remove pneumatics, no required overhauls, and facepiece versatility help to lower the cost of ownership.

N/A These respirators help to protect against certain airborne contaminants. Before use, the wearer must read and understand the User Instructions provided as part of the product packaging. A written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the requirements of OSHA 1910.134 including training, fit testing and medical evaluation. In Canada, CSA standards Z94.4 requirements must be met and/or requirements of applicable jurisdiction, as appropriate. Improper use may result in sickness or death. For correct use, see supervisor and User Instructions.

  • 1 Selecting a cylinder with ACSi SCBA will ship a cylinder with the unique ACS designated valve assembly.
  • 2 If you prefer an alternate 3M™ Scott™ facepiece style, head harness, or size, choose "none" and order an approved facepiece as a separate line item.
